Volumetric Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026

Apex Forgeworks LLC ("we", "us", or "our") built the Volumetric application ("the App"), a workout volume tracker offered free with an optional Volumetric Pro subscription or lifetime purchase. This Privacy Policy explains how Volumetric handles information when you use it. In short: Volumetric has no accounts and no servers of our own, and your training log stays on your device.

Information Collection and Use

Volumetric is designed to be private by default. The App stores all of your data — including your workouts, sets, reps, weights, RIR ratings, routines, and custom exercises — in a database on your device. We do not operate accounts or backend servers, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your workout data on our own systems.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or location.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device:

You can export this data to a JSON or CSV file, import a backup (including a VoluMax export), or erase all of it at any time from the App's Settings screen. When you export, the file goes only where you choose to send or save it.

Crash Reporting

To find and fix bugs, Volumetric sends crash reports to Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service. A crash report contains technical details such as the error and stack trace, app version, device model, and operating-system version. Crash reports are not linked to your identity, have personal information scrubbed, and never include your workout log. Volumetric does not use any analytics or usage-tracking service beyond this crash reporting.

Purchases

Volumetric Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. The App uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and restore them across reinstalls. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID — not your name, email address, or workout data.

Health App Integration

Volumetric offers an optional integration with Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android). When you enable it and grant permission, the App writes each finished workout to your device's health store as a strength-training session. Volumetric only writes this data; it does not read any health data. The exchange happens on your device between apps, is controlled by your system health-permission settings, and can be turned off at any time. This integration is off by default.

Notifications

If you enable them, Volumetric schedules local notifications on your device for the rest timer, a weekly training recap, and backup reminders. These notifications are generated on-device and do not involve any data collection or transmission.

Third-Party Services

Volumetric does not integrate with any advertising, analytics, or tracking services. Aside from the crash reporting, purchase verification, and optional health integration described above, we do not share your data with third parties, because we do not collect it. Sentry and RevenueCat operate under their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Volumetric does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected by us from any user, this App is safe for general audiences.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
